Ideal iguana cage (inexpencive) |
Buying cages for adult iguanas is extremely
expensive, and unnecessary, you can build a cage that your iguana will be
perfectly happy in. One thing you should know about building your cage is that
it obviously should be pretty big, about 6 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide and 3 or
4 feet deep. also there should be at least one side with plywood walls to keep
in moisture, the best is three sides plywood, then have the front be one giant
door. You will need to put in a basking spot for your iguana also. The bottom
should be tile so urine and feces can be cleaned up easily. If you fallow these
guidelines and do a little more research, your iguana will be safe and sound in
his new cage in no time.

nice post I love lizards a ton!
Nice post Zach, iguanas seem really cool!
I like your cage, I need to build one for my iguana Spike. my last Iguana, Lucky lived to be almost 20 years old, but he didn't live in a cage because he was friendly and used a cat litter box filled with water as a bathroom, Spike is a bit more aggressive so he needs his own space.
